Terms of Service

By accessing or using AuraStar (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

AuraStar is an AI-powered daily aura card platform that generates unique, personalized aura cards based on your mood, energy, and vibe. Each day, you complete a quick check-in with five sliders (energy, mood, focus, creativity, social), and our AI creates a one-of-a-kind aura card in your chosen art style.

AI-Powered Image Generation

Our service uses OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which routes requests to Google's Gemini AI models, to generate personalized aura card images based on your check-in data. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to this use of AI technology.

When you check in, we share your computed aura type, color palette, and chosen art style with our AI providers to create your unique card image. We do not share any personal information (such as your name, email, or account details) with AI services. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Face Feature

The App includes an optional face feature that allows you to include your selfie in the aura card generation. When enabled, your avatar image is sent to our AI providers along with the aura prompt. This feature is entirely optional, and you can generate aura cards without it.

Guest and Registered Accounts

You can use AuraStar as a guest with a device-linked account, or create a full account via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. Guest accounts are tied to your device and cannot be recovered if you switch devices.

• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

AuraStar allows one check-in per user per day. Each check-in generates a unique aura card that becomes part of your collection. Key points:

• Free users receive one card per day in the “Cosmic” art style
• Pro subscribers can choose from 20+ art styles and access additional features
• Generated card images are stored on our servers and accessible through your account
• AI-generated images may vary in quality and are provided as-is

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or explicit selfie images
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent any access or usage limitations

Our Content

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software, and AI-generated content, are owned by AuraStar or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (such as selfie images). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

AI-Generated Content

Aura card images generated by our AI are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may share your aura cards on social media. While we strive for quality, AI-generated images may vary and are provided as-is.

Some features of the App require a paid Pro subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law

Subscription management and cancellation can be done through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• AI-generated images will meet your expectations in quality or style
• The quality of the App will meet your expectations
• Any errors will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AURASTAR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AuraStar and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit to the App

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AuraStar operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
